Dr. Craig Blomberg has been with Denver Seminary as a professor of New Testament since 1986.

Prior to that assignment, Dr. Blomberg was an assistant professor of Religion at Palm Beach Atlantic College from 1982-85. He took a leave of absence to accept a one-year research fellowship in Cambridge, England with the British wing of the Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship from 1985-86. During this time, he co-edited Gospel Perspectives: vol. 6, The Miracles of Jesus and wrote The Historical Reliability of the Gospels.

He has since written numerous articles in professional journals, multi-author works and dictionaries or encyclopedias. He has written Interpreting the Parables, a commentary on Matthew for the New American Commentary series, I Corinthians for the NIV Application Commentary series, How Wide the Divide and Jesus and the Gospels: An Introduction and Survey. He also co-authored Introduction to Biblical Interpretation.

Dr. Blomberg completed his Ph.D. degree in New Testament, specializing in the parables and the writings of Luke and Acts, at Aberdeen University in Scotland. He received his M.A. degree in New Testament from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He graduated summa cum laude from Augustana College with majors in religion, mathematics, education and Spanish.
